We are looking for people with smiles, enthusiasm, and care about their job performance. Here listed below is what is expected for this particular person.
Cleans assigned areas in accordance with franchise procedures. Stocks room attendant's supplies, removes soiled linen and trash from carts, all service functions.
Specific Duties:
ï® Smile when on-stage (when in public eye).
ï® Cleans drink and vending machines and all surrounding areas. Empties all trash receptacles and ashtrays in corridors and public areas.
ï® Cleans all outside area walkways; sweeps stairways and landings; cleans railings and washes all EXIT doors.
ï® Cleans public restrooms.
ï® Washes windows as per schedule.
ï® Cleans elevators, tracks, chrome, and stainless steel.
ï® Spot-cleans walls and doors; removes cobwebs; cleans fire extinguishers.
ï® Wipes baseboards, railings, phones, walls, vending areas.
ï® Collects soiled linen form room attendant's carts and delivers to area assigned.
ï® Vacuums all inside corridors and shampoos carpets.
ï® Assists in keeping all storage areas and linen rooms clean. Assists Housekeeper in checking supplies, opening cartons, placing supplies neatly on shelves.
ï® Assists in making beds and cleaning rooms (flips mattresses) as instructed by Executive Housekeeper.
ï® Delivers cribs and rollaways to guestrooms.
ï® Patrols pool areacleans tables, empties garbage, cleans workout facilities.
ï® Wears protective equipment provided by property.
ï® Fills out maintenance work order forms notifying maintenance and housekeeping of any maintenance problems.
ï® Reports any security or safety issues.
ï® All other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
Physical Demands: Requires walking and standing for entire shift. Requires ability to perform light or heavy housekeeping services which involve lifting, bending, stretching, and reaching.
Environmental Conditions: Inside protection from weather conditions (75%) but not necessarily from temperature changes. Outside labor is required (25%)
Essential Skills: Requires knowledge of applicable standards and procedures. Must have ability to maintain schedule of cleaning and work as a team with all hotel associates. Must have the ability to professionally represent the hotel, deal positively with the public. Ability to follow schedule and ability to perform physical labor.
Educational/Vocational Preparation: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
