SYNOPSIS
Mirabelle Cafe is a boutique cafe located in the heart of downtown Savannah specializing in coffee & waffles. We strive to bring the highest customer experience in all we do. The cafe manager position is one of serious responsibility necessitating the right person who is driven, dedicated & seeking to grow in the industry. This person will be responsible for helping the cafe run smoothly by leading & training the staff toward cafe objectives during a season of growth.

Mirabelle Cafe strives to be passionate & dedicated in providing an authentic & superior experience. We have two crafts & we hope to do them well. With attention to detail, we use the best ingredients to provide premium coffee & waffles.
We seek an enthusiastic, confident, driven cafe manager to lead Mirabelle Cafe. Join us in developing a talented crew to continuously raise the standard for our guests coffee & culinary experience! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Mirabelle staff well through proper training, examples & expectations
Increase Financial performance grow sales, managing COGS, labor & overhead
Maintain knowledge of new policy & products; clear communication with staff
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead & promote highest quality of customer service
Lead & promote highest quality of cleanliness & organization
Engage in natural relationships with customers
Collaborate with ownership to recruit, hire, & grow passionate & engaged staff
Maintain a cohesive, quality-focused ethos
Collaborate with coffee roaster to continually develop barista skills
Create bi-weekly Cafe schedule
Follow disciplinary procedures & regular reviews
Collaborate with ownership to control cost without sacrificing product quality
Conduct accurate regular inventory
Order supplies & adjust as needed
Develop & facilitate monthly menu updates
Lead staff in equipment care & highest level of cleanliness
Schedule tech maintenance quarterly
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Must like people & customer service
Passionate about coffee & food (waffles in our case)
Management experience is necessary
A learner who is willing to accept criticism & encouragement
Always open to learning new systems/methods & developing new habits
Can inspire staff & encourage a positive attitude at all times
Ability to balance remaining calm & working quickly under pressure
Attention to detail with strong communication skills
Ability to stay organized & keep time-management
Able to engage in problem-solving & collaboration
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, 8-10 hours
Ability to lift 40 pounds & carry a supplies, food & drink regularly
Reliable transportation
