Immediate opening at Dr. Steven Goldberg's Coastal Chiropractic Clinic, 9100 White Bluff Road, Suite 401, Savannah, GA. 31406. This is an established single doctor office providing specialized holistic chiropractic treatment since 1989. A special place with a special atmosphere.

Job duties and Qualifications: Appointment scheduling, verification of patient insurance eligibility and benefits, greeting and assisting patients with I-Pad checking-in, checking-out patients with collecting correct payments and entering correct insurance coding for services rendered. Office filing, chart preparation for next day patients, scanning, faxing, light office cleaning, assisting office manager with various tasks, maintaining daily patient schedule list changes for the doctor. Excellent math skills, data entry, and knowledge of operating Microsoft 10 software as well as Apple I-Pad. Familiar with creating Excel spreadsheet. Able to upload disk with xrays or MRI images that patients bring to office. Must be well-spoken, have good handwriting skills, have a pleasant telephone voice, and be team oriented. Appropriate dress will be discussed.

Training provided on our Chiropractic Practice Software System, Electronic Medical Records Program, and all other duties. Previous health Insurance office knowledge and experience is preferred and will be paid accordingly.

Office hours - 36.5 hours/week for this position are M - Th: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM with a 1 ½- hour lunch break from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, and Fri: 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM. Occasional weekly overtime not to exceed 38 hours. Office is closed Friday afternoons.

Salary and benefits: Competitive wage of $15/hr with higher wage for more knowledge and experience. Benefits: medical insurance to be discussed, annual 10 days of personal leave (PTO), 8 paid holidays per year, and chiropractic care for employees and family.
