These services include engineering, design, installation, and maintenance for all phases of inside and outside voice, video and data networks. Overview:

Knowledge of establishedÂburied cable installation procedures and techniques. Be familiar with wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.

Responsibilities:

-As crew leader responsible for accurate and timely submission of production reports

-Oversee crew assignments, ensure all operating and safety procedures are followed

-Operate various equipment, machinery and tools to install/repair underground cable, fiber and placement of pedestals

-Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor such as digging holes and trenches, and working in extreme weather conditions

-ÂFollow all safety procedures: wear hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, approved footwear and seat belt. -Also set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers, and flagging traffic

-Ability to read and understand work orders and operating instructions

Qualifications:

-Knowledge of establishedÂburied/undergroundÂcable installation procedures and techniques

-1-3 years previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications industry.

-Valid driver's license required, CDL license preferred.
