The company has established a manufacturing development center in Statesboro, GA for the purpose of developing machinery and products for commercial use. The business has been endorsed by the Bulloch County Economic Development Authority and, through a matching grant from the Georgia Centers of Innovation, has partnered with Georgia Southern University to do analytical evaluation to further refine their process and products.

Job description

Efficien is seeking a part-time (12-20 hrs/week), in-house lab professional to join their Statesboro team to build on the recent learning and provide in-house product testing and development capacity. The Efficien Lab Technician is responsible for performing all analytical testing, managing and communicating data results, developing new tests and demonstrations and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the existing product quality testing equipment, methods and analysis.

Running product QC tests during production runs, evaluating and communicating results.

Maintaining all analytical instrumentation.

Maintaining database of all analytical data.

Maintain equipment supplies for the lab, identifying vendors and securing quotes as necessary and communicating recommendations.

Specific Qualifications

Minimum of two years analytical lab experience

Knowledge of QC, LC, basic wet chemistry lab techniques

Knowledge of best practices is data management and reporting

General Requirements

Four year college degree (BA/BS)

Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)

Proven trustworthy character

Self-starter with experience working independently with minimum supervision

Ability to work with others of diverse backgrounds, education, and experience
