Are you a person with a truck and flatbed trailer living in or near Bulloch/Effingham, GA counties who would like to make some significant income?
We provide a high quality small square bale hay for horses, and deliver the bales to horse farms.
We need a person who has their own truck and flatbed trailer, living in or near Bulloch/Effingham, GA counties to work on a contractor basis, and make deliveries of approximately 200-300 of these square bales to customers, and unload and stack the bales, each within a radius of 150 miles, a few times per week.
You will need a truck and trailer that can support the pulling of a maximum of 300 bales (18,000 lbs). The trailer length would need to be at least 30 ft, and preferably be a tandem (dual) axle trailer.
You will be paid a specific amount per mile, plus an amount per bale for unloading and stacking the hay. For delivering over 200 bales, a helper, paid by our company, can go with you to help unload and stack.
Since you would be considered a carrier for hire, you will need to have commercial insurance to cover the hay and your truck and trailer.
The hours can be flexible, and the deliveries conform to your schedule. These are all daily deliveries, with no overnight travel.
This would be a great way of using your current truck and trailer to make a very good supplementary income.
