DescriptionThere is an opening for an Accounting Clerk through Accountemps, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term temporary-to-full-time position based in the Stockbridge, Georgia area. Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Upload financial information to journals and ledgers
Work with Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching filing
Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a wide range of sources
Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, process daily invoices/credit, and help with collection of past due balance
Requirements
Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Proficiency in customer service
Command of CRM
Incoming payments experience preferred
Billing experience
CRM marketing experience
Proven knowledge of Accounting Entries
Well-founded grasp of Accounting Functions
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
