IT Business Analyst Position Description We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. The selected candidate will work onsite in Stone Mountain, GA alongside the project team. Job Summary: Under broad supervision, maintains and troubleshoots computers, servers, peripherals, and/or applications. Implements consistent procedures and standards for general system maintenance in consultation with the Information Systems staff. Converts project specifications into procedure for coding. Enters program codes into computer system. Owns assigned tasks. Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data for potential business expansion
- Identifying specific business opportunities
- Influencing stakeholders to support business projects
- Testing business processes and recommending improvements
- Demonstrates flexibility within a variety of changing situations while working with various individuals and groups
- Able to breakdown raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand
- Gathers and analyzes information or data on current and future trends of best practice. Seeks information on issues impacting the progress of organizational and process issues.
- Voluntarily takes the first steps to identify and address existing and potential obstacles, issues, and opportunities.
- Anticipates, identifies and defines problems. Seeks root causes. Develops and implements practical and timely solutions.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy. Defines and organizes tasks, responsibilities and priorities. Takes responsibility for timely completion.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of system experience in developing or supporting applications.
- An adequate knowledge and understanding of existing IT technologies and how they are utilized within business units in support of business processes
- Experience in an enterprise data environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems and integration points with in-house and third-party systems
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university
- 3 years experience in developing or supporting applications
- 3 years experience in an enterprise data environment
- 3 years experience demonstrating knowledge of ERP systems and integration points with in-house and third-party systems
