Systems Engineering Infrastructure LeadTracking CodePOS-227858Job DescriptionAs a member of the Design Engineering Team, this candidate will lead a team responsible for applying engineering best practices to develop supporting documents and programs for the design and application engineering teams. The Systems Engineering Infrastructure Lead is responsible for creating new supporting programs and maintaining existing programs and software currently in use. The Systems Engineering Infrastructure Lead will actively work with design engineers, application engineers, IT, sales, marketing and manufacturing to solicit and gather pertaining information in the creation of the programs.Responsibilities:
Lead team of business analysts who maintain quoting and BOM generating software
Drive development of team member’s talents
Develop and drive organization towards vision of processes used for change management
Responsible for accuracy of data, formulas, etc. in quoting tools and BOM generating software
Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to determine software requirements
Work with vendors to collect data and requirements for components
Communicate requirements and changes to all relevant departments
Required SkillsRequired ExperienceRequired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
Years of Experience – 7 to 10
Deep understanding of Hussmann products and processes
Ability to recognize, build, and deploy talents of team members effectively
Ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
Strong understanding of refrigeration or HVAC fundamentals and components
Knowledge of Baan IVc4 (ERP system)
Ability to perform Production Support of business-critical processes in a timely manner
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities without losing productivity
Ability find solution to competing needs of departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, ect.)
Participate in IT and business projects to contribute to the definition of database and reporting requirements
Implement a solution strategy to support Engineering processes that use various Engineering and Business system inputs/outputs
Good customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing in SQL, MS Access, Excel formulas, and VBA/VB.net
Good working knowledge of database design fundamentals and queries
Familiar with Rulestream, including development
Familiar with Team Center PLM system
