Facility Maintenance Wkr 1

Under direct supervision, performs routine maintenance on buildings, facilities and grounds. Cleans and maintains assigned areas. Assists contractors or skilled trades workers with major repairs or renovations. Builds and maintains boating access and facility signs. Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed. Maintains grounds, parking, and storage areas. Manages the security access system for the facility and all modifications on a day-to-day basis. Monitors condition of facilities. Moves furniture, operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment. Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment. Performs routine carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Performs routine repairs, preventative maintenance and inspection of the facilities or buildingsAny combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
