job descriptionPaint Process EngineerPermanent position: A leading manufacturer of automotive components is seeking an experienced Paint Engineer to join their team in Toccoa, GA. This position requires previous experience with programming and troubleshooting of Kuka Robots. In this role, the Paint Engineer will ensure all paint processes are of optimal quality standards and that the paint line is running effectively and efficiently at all times.Responsibilities for the Paint Process Engineer
Troubleshooting of paint line processes and procedures
Performing defect analysis to determine corrective actions to be taken
Implementation and support of new processes and equipment in paint process area
Establish and maintain relationships with paint material suppliers
Requirements for the Paint Process Engineer
5 Years of manufacturing experience
At least 3 years of experience programming Kuka Robots
Experience in paint processes, application issues and mix room operations
Experience with conventional, HVLP and Trans-Tech equipment
Knowledge of IATS 16949 requirements for paint line certification
