Tech Forensic Processing I - Tucker, GA req20855Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm Tuesday - SaturdayBasic Purpose:To describe the responsibilities of the forensic processor within the Forensic Drug Testing Laboratory. This position reports to the Supervisor, Forensic Processing and is responsible for the routine daily sample processing of the Forensic Toxicology Processing Department. This individual is accountable for all specimen receipt, sorting, data entry and work within the forensic processing department.Duties and Responsibilities:Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information SystemSort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc) and work listCompletes Maxilog Data EntryUnderstands and adheres to strict forensic practicesCapable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independentlyAdheres to company policies and proceduresProficient with scanning/imaging all custody and control formsCapable of discarding negative specimensPerforms flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCF?s per hourOther duties as assigned by supervisorSupervision Exercised: n/aQualifications:Education Preferred: High School diploma or equivalentWork Experience:Prior laboratory experience preferredPhysical and Mental:Able to sit or stand for long periodsWork in a laboratory environment and adhere to safety requirementsOther:Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Practical knowledge of computer systems.Commitment to Customer SatisfactionAll requirements are subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. or CitizenshipQuest Diagnostics is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Women / Minorities / Veterans / Disabled / Sexual Orientation / Gender Identity.
