Job Description

As a super-star community engagement specialist, you understand how to build digital relationships, keep the conversation going, resolve issues, and design exciting content that encourages click through. You are experienced with paid social campaigns, managing a pre-defined social budget, optimization and reporting on ROI. You are comfortable being the “digital voice of the company.” You enjoy collaborating with marketing leadership in the development of strategy and execution plans.

  • Manages paid social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities on social channels (not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.
  • Manage and run other community properties: website product reviews, sampling program, blogs, forums, chat bots
  • Design, create, curate and manage exciting content for social channels, including UGC and company created content (UGC, images, video, promotions and written)
  • Build, maintain and evolve relationships with existing and new influencers & brand/social loyalists
  • Perform research across all social platforms to support marketing goals/objectives (end-user, competitive, new product launches, overall brand presence)
  • Analyzes, reviews, and reports monthly in an effort to maximize results; translates anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising/optimizing social media efforts
  • Manage social advertising spend; estimate and track ROI versus anticipated and actual results
  • Multi-tasking and juggling projects with priorities that shift and change is needed as well- you’ll have that ability to shift gears without getting ruffled and keep your eyes on all the moving parts!

Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor's degree in social media, advertising, marketing, communications, or similar field.

You have experience in creating and managing social media campaigns (organic & paid), along with managing a budget and reporting on ROI.

You have a deep understanding of all relevant social reputation utilities, social media best practices, SEO & SEM.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.), and how each platform can be used in different scenarios.

Must demonstrate strong editorial judgment and exceptional writing skills.

Possess a strong level of social media analytics skills; able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize both current approach and future programs.

Thorough understanding of the creative and design process (mock-ups to go-live designs); proficient with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
