We are currently seekingÂFull-TimeÂMental Health & MedicalÂLPNsÂto join our team atÂSuwannee Correctional Institution- Main UnitÂlocated inÂLive Oak, Florida.
Qualifications:
Florida LPN licenseÂorÂability to obtain license.
Mental Health experience preferred
Current CPR.
Corrections experienceÂnotÂrequired.
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
The LPNs are responsible for providing holistic mental health nursing care with appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
