The Data Analyst II is responsible for collecting, sorting and studying business data for interpretation and analysis. This position is also responsible for supporting the Quantum Sr. Administrator with the Crystal Report creation and management of the Quantum information systems (IS) used for data management by Managers, Staff and Customers. The Data Analyst II collaborates with multiple departments to ensure information flow and communication on both routine supply chain activities and special projects. Maintain records, benchmark reporting and related activity and ensure data integrity. Assist in developing business tools and processes to capture and monitor processes metrics. Develop gathered information in a manner that will assist the organization in meeting contractual objectives and business goals.Duties and Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following:

Oversee data mining and data consolidation

Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics

Manage incoming data for continuity and uniformity among set objectives

Work with management to create a prioritized list of needs for the business

Document structure of company business data which serves as a guide in execution of tasks

Evaluate data to identify diverse characteristics and similarities for improved integration

Provide analysis and integrated solutions to eliminate recurring data issues

Interact with managers to understand issues, expand data analysis and provide solutions

Utilize strong Oracle and SQL database management and software skills to process data and report trends

Analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools, techniques and reports

Pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in data sets

Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information

Analyze data and collaborate with internal teams to explain variances

Perform forecasting strategies and develop methodologies and present cause and effect analysis

Develop reports, documentation and operating manuals related to the Quantum IS database

Assist in managing security measures and access levels within the Quantum IS database

Test and modify databases as required to ensure reliable operation

Determine, organize and facilitate Quantum IS user training, support and feedback

Manage software and databases up to desired version level

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Provide and brief concise data reports and clear data visualizations for management review

Provide assistance for administrative purposes and the Quality Management System

Must perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management

Job Requirements:

Position requires BA/BS Degree from an accredited university with at least three (3) years of related supply chain, benchmarking, and/or data analysis experience. Supervisory experience is desired, but not required. Equivalent work experience and/or combination of education and experience may be considered.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel in the following areas:

Excel Query writing, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts

Dashboard development including advanced visualizations, slicer and timeline usage

Data model manipulation include Key Process Indicators (KPI) and measurement implementation

Familiar Microsoft Access database creation

Microsoft SharePoint Administrative experience in deploying reporting and dashboard data

Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is desired, but not required

Must be eligible to satisfy a background investigation in order to obtain a security clearance.
