Job Description:Position is contingent upon contract award.Third Party Logistics Project Manager (3PL PM): The Contractor shall designate a 3PL Project Manager (PM) who will be required to work on site in the Contractor s storage facility for Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA. The 3PL PM shall plan and execute specific Supply Chain Management functions, DOD logistics policies and initiatives, and perform financial management procedures. The 3PL PM shall manage and oversee overall supply chain operations including purchasing and inventory of HM, as well as selection of vendors. The 3PL PM shall evaluate historical procurement data to forecast needs and production levels; develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of the operations; ensure that issues regarding new/existing products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner; interact with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met; plans and directs all aspects of the Contractor s supply chain policies, objectives, and initiatives. The 3PL PM shall oversee the Contractor s inventory, warehousing, distribution and transportation functions. The 3PL PM shall be authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor during the PM s absence. The Contractor shall provide written, 48 hour advance notice to the KO or designee, of such designation. Qualifications and Experience:THe 3PL PM shall have a minimum of five years experience in the field of CMS management and end to end supply chain management, and extensive experience with environmental program management; and three years experience using a HM Tracking System equivalent to EESOH-MIS. Possess experience and familiarity with commercial 3PL sourcing and inventory management procedures commensurate with the requirements of the contract. Experience required is preferably in conducting various supply procurement, logistics and or analysis, studies and project management tasks.
