Summary: The responsibility of Quality Assurance (QA) is to complete a final inspection of the product to ensure it complies with the instructions from the Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA). Quality inspections involves all aspects of technical manual production and an understanding of quality assurance/control, including an overview of all governing technical data military specifications as well as a broad knowledge of the Country Standard Technical Order production process from the receipt of source data through printing and distribution. Essential Functions:

The responsibility of QA is to complete a final inspection of the product to ensure it complies with the instructions from the (TOMA). The inspection or review consist of developed, converted or changed illustration, TO, supplement or revision intended to provide adequate confidence the product optimally fulfills the process or product requirement.

Conduct inspections IAW the QA checklist and if the document passes inspection it is returned to the (TOMA) for final review.

Review for one hundred percent (100%) content accuracy of delivered documents. Packages not meeting 100% content accuracy and/or task order format requirements will be returned to the Editor for corrections.

Log packages returned from the TOMA and forward the package to the Technical Data Engineer for corrections. When all corrections are made, and the final review completed, forward the package to the TOMA for a final review and processing.

Provide editorial support by updating published TOs utilizing Government approved source data normally received in the form of a change package as necessary.

Provide support and data for administrative purposes and in support of the ISO certification.

Job Requirements:Education:

Bechelor's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience:

F-15 experience required

Knowledge of and experience with writing Air Force Technical Orders (TOs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) required

Knowledge of the CSTO production process required

Working knowledge of applicable military standards & specifications (MIL-STD 38784) required

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work as part of a team, as well as independently

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Frame Maker preferred

Must be able to obtain a security clearance enabling access to various government facilities and systems
