Local CPA firm located in Kaimuki seeking a candidate with pubic accounting experience. A mid-level accountant/bookkeeper is being sought. Duties include the preparation of bank reconciliations, general excise taxes, payroll, journal entries, general ledger, and the preparation of financial statements. Our firm has a mix of interesting clients – the candidate will learn all phases of public accounting as well as personal and business income taxes.
To be considered:
A Bachelor’s or Associates degree is preferred but not required. Working experience in the field of accounting is required.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word and good computer skills
Possess good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Be self motivated and detail minded
Positive attitude, ability to work with others
