Job Description
Assist & supervise staff to maintain client general ledgers
Manage periodic business and payroll tax filings
Train clients and new staff on accounting software
Collaborate on social media and marketing program
Support CPAs and tax department staff
Advise clients on maintaining regulatory compliance
Qualifications & Requirements
BA in Accounting + minimum 3 years accounting experience
Warm customer service personality
Experienced at learning and using new software
Flexibility to manage multiple deadlines & shifting priorities
Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient with QuickBooks desktop and online
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
Possess working knowledge of Federal and Hawaii labor law
Experience with Thomson Reuters software a plus
Interest in obtaining CPA licensure is a plus
