Hawaii’s oldest and largest distributor of renewable energy systems and equipment seeks Customer Service / Technical Sales personnel to join our statewide team at our Maui branch.
Job duties include:
-Enter, process, and confirm sales orders via phone and email
-Maintain personal contact with customers via phone & email in a professional manner with exceptional clarity
-Provide technical support including design assistance, installation & operation support, and troubleshooting
-Prepare complete material quotes and distribute to customers in timely manner
-Assist with inventory monitoring, control, and ordering
-Manage supply chain for special orders
-Coordinate jobsite deliveries through collaboration with customers and warehouse staff
Ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or equivalent work experience. On the job solar, electrical, plumbing, and/or general contracting experience a plus with specific emphasis towards design, installation best practices and product knowledge. Familiarity and/or field experience with batteries is especially desirable. The ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgement in direct dealings with customers is essential. Candidate will be required to anticipate work needs, work independently, prioritize workload efficiently, multi-task, and follow through with tasks under minimal direction. The superior candidate will also possess a strong interest in renewable energy policy, environmental issues and public service.
