Sales and Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in generating revenue through Common Ground Kauai experiences, events and retail offerings. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for sustainability, sales, and innovative marketing. The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing a cohesive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with our mission and enhances our market presence.
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management:
- Oversee all sales channels for the company, including B2C and B2B
- Design and implement a sales strategy and plan to ensure Common Ground Kauai meets or exceeds annual revenue targets.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with clients and customers.
- Evaluate costs to determine appropriate product pricing and oversee pricing changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with Events, F&B and Experiences teams to ensure product quality and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with Events, F&B and Experiences to develop new product and experience offerings.
- Hire and manage sales team.
2. Marketing:
- Create and implement marketing plan for all products and business lines. These include daily visitor experiences, weddings, and local events.
- Manage all marketing channels with strong focus on digital and but also print and in-person networking
- Work with the Director of Brand Execution on content creation and social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage the creation, organization, and maintenance of marketing assets and materials, including marketing collateral, signage, and digital content.
- Work with the Director of Brand Execution to ensure that marketing strategy and implementation is consistent and aligned with the overall brand strategy across all marketing materials and physical environments.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including events, F&B, operations, and community outreach, to ensure alignment and execution of product offerings.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
- Work closely with the CEO and CFO to ensure revenue targets are achieved and adjust sales and marketing strategies as needed.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and efficiency.
Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 commensurate with experience. In addition Common Ground offers generous PTO and health benefits.
