Aloha Maui,
We have several positions available: an early morning opener, a late night host, and a part-time cleaner. All positions are part-time and include a free gym membership.
Opener is responsible for opening the gym at 5:15am, point of sale transactions, laundry, customer service. Must be HIGHLY reliable and punctual. Must always be on time to open the gym. Will be trained to understand all membership types and will sign people up for the gym. Must have a high school education for this position.
Late night host works from 10pm - 12am on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Host is responsible for customer service, doing laundry, and minor cleaning responsibilities. People with nighttime schedules are encouraged to apply.
Cleaner must work 4-5 hours per week and is responsible for cleaning the equipment and machines. You set your own schedule with approval of the managers. Must maintain a professional appearance and be a self-starter. If you see something that needs cleaning, clean it! Note: this is not a maintenance position.
Prior gym experience is not required but having some customer service experience is a plus.
Applicants must be reliable and punctual with good references. This job is perfect for somebody who is new to the island as it is highly social and you will meet a lot of people whom you will see around town. This is also a good feeder job, as many former employees have found their next job by meeting other local employers at the gym.
A free gym membership is included as part of your compensation for all positions.
