Full Time Private School Custodian
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of our school campus M-F 9:00am – 5:00pm (or similar)
Yearly Contract July 1 – June 30
Medical Benefits, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide dependable custodial services for small private school campus
Communicate and receive duties from Admin, work independently with little to no supervision
Maintain safety in all aspects of work (indoor & outdoor)
Prepare work/learning areas for staff/students, by cleaning/sanitizing surfaces regularly and efficiently to ensure work quality meets or exceeds school expectations
Cleaning/scrubbing/sanitizing of bathrooms & any spills/accidents that occur
Use light equipment to clean/maintain surfaces (power washer, vacuums, orbitals, etc.)
Participate in campus and department events and activities as needed for preparation and cleanup
Monitor supply/materials quantities and submit order requests to maintain adequate stock
Adhere to all employee handbook protocols and policies including mandatory reporting
Remain flexible and implement efficient time-management
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Valid Driver’s License
Pass background check
Minimum 3 years’ experience with custodial services
Basic computer knowledge and ability to send/receive phone/email/text communications in a timely manner
Good work ethic, communication skills, willingness to learn new skills, ability to be on-time and on-task with minimal supervision
Ability and willingness to read, understand, and follow all training and safety materials
Perform physical work (bending, reaching, moving/lifting up to 50 lbs.)
Must be good with children
