Piano Teachers at Nobu Sakurai Piano Studios are responsible for the following:
- Teaching group, semi-private, and private lessons (up to 3 students at a time)
- Being able to teach both music theory and piano lessons effectively
- Being engaging and instructive individuals that are able to effectively teach students of all ages and levels
We require of our piano teachers:
- Must have a degree in music or music education (or current piano major student)
- Must be able to instruct students in music theory and piano performance at a variety of levels
- Must be energetic, knowledgeable, patient, and above all, able to work well with children
- Must be able to teach all kinds of lessons (between 1 and 3 students)
- Must be able to work at least Saturday (9a-5p), but Sunday (1230p-400p) also preferred! Weekday afternoons also great!
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 /hour minimum (will be determined by performance)
