A Caring Place Preschool is seeking an Afternoon Preschool Teacher to work with our 2-6 year olds. Hours are Monday -Friday 10:00am-5:30pm . All applicants are subject to criminal history background checks and must register with the Department of Human Services Early Childhood Registry. All applicants must be CPR & First Aide certified and be able to complete 16 hours of Health and Safety Training within one year of employment and annually there after.
Preschool Teacher applicants MUST have :
Option 1- Degree in early childhood or child development from an accredited college or university; 6 months of experience working with children (Experience must be in an early care & education related setting)
Option 2- Bachelor Degree (any field) from an accredited college or university; 12 credits in early childhood and/or child development; 6 months of experience working with children (Experience must be in an early care & education related setting)
Option 3- Bachelor Degree (elementary education) from an accredited college or university; 6 credits in early childhood and/or child development; 6 months of experience working with children ( Experience must be in an early care & education related setting)
Option 4- 60 credits in a degree program; Certificate in Early Childhood (16 credits);1 year supervised teaching experience (Experience must be in an early care & education related setting)
Option 5- CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) ; 1 year supervised teaching experience (Experience must be in an early care & education related setting )
