JOB OVERVIEW:

Assist the teaching team with preparing and implementing the Tūtū and Me curriculum and program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Work as part of a team to create and prepare learning materials for keiki and caregivers enrolled in the program;

● Participate in the lesson planning process with the teaching team;

● Model, teach, and engage with enrolled families in a professional manner that encourages caregivers to be their keikiʻs first and foremost teacher;

● Assist the teaching team with unbiased observations of keiki and caregivers that support developmental growth and progress while in the program;

● Track and record participant attendance at site and enter it in the database;

● Contribute towards supportive professional relationships with families and colleagues;

● Help maintain proper safety guidelines and expectations at the office and program sites.

Pay Rate: $17 p/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

● High school diploma or equivalent;

● Valid driver's license and a safe and responsible driving record.

Preferred:

● Three (3) months experience working with keiki;

● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Canva publishing, and virtual meeting platforms;

● Knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture and values.
