We are seeking a Draftsman and Social Media Manager responsible for creating accurate design and detail drawings to meet the scope of work per plans and specifications and develop and manage our social media platforms.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
Position is Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Testing and troubleshooting web page features
Write, post, and track posts across various social media platforms
Keep track of social media trends and competition
Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account
Design / Detail complete drawing packages to meet the scope of work per plans and specifications. AutoCAD formats using standard design practices.
Create detailed drawings and designs using documents and information provided from the Sales staff and Project Management, including: architectural blueprints; sales quotes; purchase orders; and conceptual sketches. Assist in the development of new glazing systems and design details for estimating and field installations.
Taking Initial inquiries and troubleshooting and managing relatively simple hardware, software or networking Problems
In house IT Support (mostly software items; excel, word, explorer, adobe, etc).
Qualifications:
Able to make creative suggestions in the interest of the organization
Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence
Have a strong awareness of privacy policies and pay strong attention to detail
Ability to recognize emerging technologies and trends
HS Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or above preferred
Auto-CAD Training Certificate or two years of verified work experience from previous employer(s)
Must possess the ability to read & interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software
Must have a high mathematics and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure.
Accuracy in data entry
2-4 years of professional experience in a manufacturing / architectural / construction field preferred. Experience with architectural blueprints a plus.
