Position: Honolulu based electrical construction firm is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time project engineer position.
Responsibilities:
Bidding and Estimating.
Coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities.
Monitoring and reporting of construction progress.
Identification, tracking, and resolution of various issues.
Resolving Deficiencies and other quality issues.
Maintaining safety documents, records, and related issues.
Preparation, maintenance, and review of project documents.
Resolution of construction and technical issues.
Maintenance of record and as-built drawings and changes tracking.
Ensuring conformity with plans, specifications, contract document, applicable local, state and federal regulatory requirements, and construction standards.
Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications, preferred
Strong computer skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Critical thinker and good listener.
Organized and being able to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
Self-motivated, conscientious, positive attitude, and a team player.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
A valid Hawaii driver’s license.
Legal Authorization To work in the United State.

Full-time position. Weekend and night work as needed. Starting pay $60,000 annually. Pay commensurate with experience and education.
