Pacific Millworks in Maui is looking for a Lead Draftsman to join our team. You must be analytical, able to solve complex design problems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your primary objective is to help the team produce accurate, complete and easy to understand drawings, enabling our craftsmen to produce the highest quality products in an efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
Leadership experience
Expertise in tools and processes for collaborative design & review
Expert knowledge in reading architectural drawing and specs to create shop drawings in AutoCad &
Mozaik/CabinetVision
Extensive experience in cabinet design and custom millwork fabrication
Leadership Duties:
Responsible for creating and maintaining drafting project schedules
Assign drafting tasks based on schedule and ability of the team
Track assignments to ensure adherence to schedule
Review project design packages for completeness
Communicate with Project Managers on project details and schedule
Training/mentoring members of the team
Education: Bachelor of Science in a related field or equivalent experience in the cabinet/millwork industry
