Requirements
Education: Desired minimum, associate degree in construction or project management related field or certification in construction project management.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years construction experience or a combination of 2 years estimating experience and 3 years project management experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Analytical and observational skills demonstrating the ability to set a direction that fulfills the expectations of the position.
o Ability to read blueprints and analyze renderings for appropriate and accurate quoting of project requirements.
o Applied construction engineering knowledge.
Physical: Body Positions: Standing and sitting, walking, kneeling, bending.
o Body Movements: carrying, use of hands, eyes, arms and voice.
Mental Ability: Communicate clearly in English (verbal & written)
o Coordinate with management team & field personnel.
o Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks.
Working Conditions: Office, equipment repair shop, and project site environments.
Major Responsibilities
Evaluate project plans, descriptions, & designs in order to complete material take-offs.
Solicit subcontractor & material supplier quotes.
Prepare & transmit material submittals
Prepare & maintain CPM timelines, cost budgets, labor and equipment reports for use by management.
Support field personnel in their understanding of project specifications.
