Position Summary :

The Program Quality Analyst will work as part of the Program Quality team to assist with or manage a variety of curriculum and education focused projects including course and provider approvals, curriculum alignments, responses to RFPs, and other high-stakes, results-oriented, deadline-driven projects.

In addition to being responsible for tracking multiple deadlines and related deliverables, the position will be responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with outside organizations as well as developing strong working relationships with many departments across Online & Blended Learning.

The successful candidate will have a background in curriculum development and instructional practices, course approvals, or other similar educational credentials, as well as successful project coordination and deadline management experience.

Responsibilities :

Present to supervisor (and others as directed) regular, accurate status reports and updates on deadlines and deliverables for assigned projects.

Proactively identify and communicate to supervisor any issues related to deadlines being met.

Support the course approval process through creation of supporting documentation such as syllabi; entry of required information into templates, spreadsheets, and online systems;

verification of documentation and information against submission requirements. Suggesting improvements and innovations will be strongly encouraged and supported by management.

Using state or national curriculum content standards and OBL’s preferred format, create alignment templates for alignment analysis projects.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with outside organizations as required by assigned projects.

Communicate with others (both within OBL and external) in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.

This includes the ability to be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results.

Effectively apply OBL methodology and enforce project standards.

Develop, refine, and maintain process and quality assurance process documents in support of Program Quality areas of responsibility.

Set up meetings as requested by supervisor, to include the following tasks : coordinate calendars of various stakeholders across multiple time zones using Office 365;

develop detailed agenda items adhering to the company meeting guidelines; lead agenda discussions and document minutes / action items in appropriate system.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, public policy, or similar area preferred

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in education, with at least one year of experience in curriculum development preferred

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience supporting project coordination and / or quality and process improvement efforts.

Proven track record of meeting deadlines while producing highly accurate, accountable work; very detail-oriented; editing / prooing / fact checking / experience preferred

Technologically proficient with Microsoft® Office, Azure Dev Ops, Google Suite, Adobe, and ability to learn other software programs and technology platforms quickly;

database experience a plus

General understanding of K-12 state education accountability reporting systems and requirements; familiarity with course approval processes preferred

Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

Candidates with strong database, project coordination, and / or deadline management skills, strongly preferred

Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently; able to positively give and receive constructive feedback in order to improve the quality of work and exercise good judgement when making working relationship decision.

Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Must enjoy a challenging work environment that requires flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication, and organizational skills
