DescriptionUtilize your accounting and interpersonal skills in this team-oriented Bookkeeper position. This short-term temporary-to-full-time Bookkeeper role will be located in the Honolulu, Hawaii area. Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Appease accounts by balancing entries
Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Manage and review general ledger
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Experience with Month-end Journal Entries
Demonstrated knowledge of Blackbaud
Foundational knowledge in Monthly Journal Entries
Deep understanding of journal entries
Command of Adjusting Journal Entries
General familiarity with Blackbaud Software
Practical knowledge of Profit Loss
Adeptness in 10 Key
Bank Account Reconciliation experience highly preferred
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
