OverviewHealtheEdge is searching for an ETL/SQL development expertise with strong experience in SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF) skills to be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the HealtheEdge dynamic data acquisition process and help develop visualization solution in the Azure cloud environment. This position is highly technical in nature, requires excellent technical skills in a variety of competencies (ETL, data Mapping, Data integrity validation, debugging, data analysis, data acquisition process, understanding of relational and non-relational databases, develop semi-structured and unstructured data sources to structured database tables), and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies.Your impact:Participate in the requirements review with business leadership
Play a senior developer role with clear communications to non-technical business team members
Transform business requirements into Data Acquisition scripts in ELT/ETL tools
Plan and prepare a timeline and communicate to stake holders
Participate in daily team standup meetings
Design and develop Data Analysis scripts, ETL/ELT scripts/packages, Transformation rules and mapping documents.
Perform debugging for issues reported by business
Determine the completion timeline and monitor progress to keep the project on track and on schedule
Responsible for distributing information to team members and stakeholders.
Provide first-level response and advanced troubleshooting to end user issues/concerns; Level 3 technical support: After hours and weekend support required as needed
Perform Tuning and Optimization; troubleshoots and resolves data integrity issues, performance issues on the reports or dashboards.
May have to work after hours and weekends based on criticality of the issue to support customer needs.
What you bring:Must have ETL tool experience such as Microsoft SSIS or Azure Data factory and SQL development skills.
The ability to develop, ETL scripts and data acquisition scripts to import data to cloud platform
Develop data integrity scripts to validate the accuracy of the data acquisition between source and target environments
Plan and design transformation scripts and manage schedule and execution process
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Meet business requirements for data acquisition needs and create a integration services for batch processing of large volume with high efficiency on resource usage such as server/memory utilization
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ETL development tool such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing and developing ELT Process on AZURE or any equivalent technology platform
Minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting Data Acquisition, or Business Intelligence solution or supporting reporting and Dashboards solution
Strong experience in data mapping and transformation rules development process
Strong proficiency and experience in Microsoft SQL server scripting or Python or “R” programming
Strong proficiency in development of T-SQL Script writing, testing, and debug in large software application systems
Strong knowledge on Data acquisition/migration experience
Experience in writing scripts or use leading tools
Experience in creating and deploying SSIS packages or ADF packages on Azure
Experienced in in software development lifecycle with relational database
Experience with designing ELT tasks, using Microsoft technologies (SSIS)
Experience in data analysis for and data integrity check
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
Bonus Points:Programming skills in C# or Python is a plus.
Azure Data Factory experience a plus
Azure Data Engineer Certification a plus
Healthcare industry experience a plus
Experience with performance testing on large scale data processing environments a plus
