RESPONSIBILITIESI. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads work activities of the Telecommunications Operators, investigates and resolves problems, issues and concerns, and strives for continuous quality improvement in services. Performs duties of a Telecommunications Operator.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential: sitting, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting usual weight of 1/2 pound up to 2 pounds; pushing/pulling, carrying usual weight of 1/2 pound up to 3 pounds; reaching at and above shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions; frequent gripping of an object. Frequent: twisting body and reaching below shoulder level. Operates operator console, computer, telephone, pneumatic tube system.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Work environment sometimes stressful due to handling emergency calls.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: High School diploma preferred.B. EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years experience as a telecommunications operator.
