Description Robert Half currently has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, innovative team in the Real Estate & Property industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant opportunity is located in the Honolulu, Hawaii area and will offer a great you a great professional experience along with attractive compensation. Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Requirements - Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Skilled in financial reporting
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Skilled with ERP systems
Journal entries experience
Month end closings experience
Payroll experience preferred
Knowledge of bank reconciliations
