Hilo Bay Cafe is a successful restaurant, by all measures. Its a big place at 150 plus seats, and its busy, fast paced, and sometimes it really rocks. The restaurant is located on stunning Hilo Bay, and the lanai seats are very popular with regulars and visitors. We offer delicious, innovative food and beverages made from local, sustainable ingredients and plenty of heart so our customers return again and again. We also offer our staff the same kind of heart-felt attention. We pay competitive wages and benefits; offer fixed schedules to our kitchen crew, recognizing that we all have lives outside of the work we do; and nobody works Thanksgiving, Christmas Day or New Years Day. No one works on July 4th either, because thats our employee party fireworks on the bay!
