BANZAI Sushi Bar is seeking to hire a RESTAURANT MANAGER
Requirements:
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Confident and passionate about the hospitality and service industry.
- Team leading experience with the ability to manage a team of 20 individuals.
- Extensive experience in Restaurant Management.
- Extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine, products and understanding consumer
needs in order to deliver a unique experience to our customers.
- Knowledge of Point of Sales Systems (POS) or ability to learn a new system quickly.
- No criminal record.
- Clean driving license.
General Duties and Tasks:
- Directly managing a team of 15-20 young individuals in order to exceed customer
expectations while dinning at the restaurant during regular business hours.
- Day to day duties in Restaurant Management, assisting in set up, service and
closing to deliver the “Banzai experience” to our guests.
- Managing and supporting a team within the restaurant during regular business
hours.
- Driving sales and positive promotion of the restaurant.
- Accurate daily reporting of key performance in the restaurant to head office.
- Day to day duties in Restaurant Management, assisting in set up, service and

- Team building, including, hiring/firing, training, monitoring and disciplining
general staff.

- Working with senior management on following and implementing company

Day to day responsibilities:
-Invoice updates and supervision of regular updates.
-Ordering certain restaurant supplies when necessary.
-Scheduling front of house while making sure all shifts are being covered
accordingly by general staff.
- Coordination of back of house scheduling with Sushi Chef.
- Coordination of bar tender scheduling with Bar Manager.
- Handling and coordinating staff tip recordings and weekly distribution.
- Communicate regular updates during regular management meetings.
- Assisting in the human resources department for inner conflict.
- Assisting in the hiring and firing process.
- Coordinating proper inventory methods according to guidelines.
- Keeping an updated ledger of all petty cash transactions.
- Working and building strong relationships with restaurant customers.
- Following and training health and safety requirements.
- Working with senior management on following and implementing company
procedures for current and new employees.
