Daylight Mind is a fast growing Contemporary Hawaiian regional Cuisine restaurant and coffee roasting company with two busy locations on the Big island of Hawaii. We are looking for new blood to join our team, especially an experienced lead sous chef to manage our Kitchen team at our newest location in Waikoloa. This challenging role provides a high degree of empowerment and creativity.
Duties include
- supports, and communicates with the Store Manager
- Run the line during service
- Delegate tasks
- Plan and execute daily specials
- Maintain desired food and labor costs
- Inventory & Scheduling
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen
- Train kitchen staff
- Produce exceptional and exciting food
