Alternative Care Services, Inc. is seeking honest, compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team of dedicated professionals at our Adult Day Health (ADH) program in Kalihi.
Alternative Care Services, Inc. is seeking honest, compassionate, reliable and detail-oriented caregivers to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position includes working closely with supervision from an RN/ Case Management team and being able to follow a plan of care for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Skills include total care of adults in wheelchairs and escorting them on community outings. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest standards of care including total assistance with activities of daily living
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This is a part time position with promotion to full-time based on performance, availability and other criteria as positions become available.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess and provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and be able to provide and/or pass the following:
- FBI Fingerprinting Background Check
- State of Hawaii Criminal History Background Check
- Adult Protective Services (APS) Background Check
- Child Abuse and Neglect Registry (CAN) Background Check
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current TB test or negative chest X-ray
- Physical Exam
- Drug Test
- A valid Hawaii Drivers License is preferred but not necessary to apply
This position offers a starting pay rate of $10.50 per hour.
