The Salvation Army Family Treatment Services (FTS), a substance use disorder treatment facility in Kaimuki, is seeking to fill a full-time Outpatient Counselor position. The Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Counselor provides individual, group and family counseling, education and case management for assigned clients, including documentation of all activities for clients.
A masters degree in a mental health discipline and work experience in residential and/or outpatient substance use disorder treatment; or State of Hawaii certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and work experience in the substance abuse treatment population preferred. Personal vehicle and valid Hawaii State driver license required.
