PositionThe Final Surgery Schedulers are responsible for maintaining Surgicare most valuable asset as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC): operating room time. The Surgery Scheduler manages this important resource and is required to fill the center's schedule with appropriate procedures. The Surgery Scheduler is the key point of contact with physician offices and uses those relationships to ensure the success of Surgicare of Hawaii.SupervisionSurgery Schedulers must be self-directed and able to operate with minimal supervision using the provided management guidelines. The position reports to the Director of Nursing.Education, Experience and LicensesHigh School Graduate or EquivalentAssociate's Degree or equivalent; two-year college or technical school preferred3 - 5 years of medical office, hospital, outpatient surgery center or related fieldComputer experience with Excel, Word, medical billing software and applicationsWorking knowledge of medical terminology requiredPlease apply online with Surgicare of Hawaii, Inc. at: https://surgicare-of-hawaii-inc.prismhr-hire.com/job/120075/surgery-scheduler?s=cl
