Lead Mechanic (197633)Hawaii's industry leader in safety equipment and supplies is looking to hire a full-time Lead Mechanic to perform repairs and supervise four other mechanics. As a working Lead, you must be able to diagnose and repair diesel engines for the company's fleet of trucks, vehicles, and equipment. We are looking for candidates that have at least five years of experience in diesel diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. Pay
$56,000 to $62,000 a year,
Responsibilities
Work and communicate with senior management to keep the fleet running in an effective and efficient manner.
Coordinate and oversee schedules for repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Oversee a team of mechanics, inspect work to make sure standards have been met, and provide support and advice with repairs.
Order mechanical parts, use diagnostic equipment, conduct road tests, and maintain repair equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum 3- 5 years' experience in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of automobiles and trailer equipment.
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Must have a valid driver's license with decent abstract.
Must have excellent leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
