American Carpet One Floor and Home, a well-established employee owned company consistently voted as one of the best places to work, is expanding its flooring installation team and looking for a flooring installation apprentice who is interested in learning a trade. If you are able to fulfill the following requirements, you could be a part of our organization and an employee owner.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Commitment and desire to learn a trade through work experience;
Strong customer service skills;
Able to lift and carry, with proper equipment, up to 100 lbs;
Able to work any day, including weekends;
Able to use, with training, required tools and equipment to prepare and install flooring materials;
Able to understand, speak, write, and read English;
Able to climb stairs;
Able to kneel for extended periods of time;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Willingness and ability to perform all required duties and additional duties as needed.
Applicants with valid drivers license and acceptable driving record preferred.
Work Hours: 6:30 am to completion of job. This is a non-exempt position.
Work Days: Five days/ week; any day, including weekends.
