Job Title: Tractor Trailer Driver
Summary:
The Tractor Trailer Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Hawaiian Earth Recycling truck vehicles and other assigned equipment. Maintain and comply with all Federal and State Motor Carrier Regulations. Communicates clearly with peers and supervisors orally and in writing. Maintain a professional and environmentally responsible attitude for the enjoyment of our customers, staff members, and business associates. Able to work with minimum direction from superior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate tractor trailer on and off road to transport materials.
Maintain a current Drivers Medical Examiner Certificate
Comply to FMC Certification of Violations
Provide an Annual Review of Driving Record
Performs safety and maintenance inspections as described in the preventive and daily equipment checklist
Performs other duties as required
Work reasonable overtime as required to complete assigned tasks
Provides daily equipment inspections, maintains and organize tractor vehicle.
Operates applicable heavy equipment in regular activities such as cleaning the grinding area, loading products, and spreading for the picking crew.
Operate water truck for dust control and management.
Participates in the manual labor associated with keeping contaminants out of green-waste and mulch piles, maintenance, repair, and construction of facility including roadway and shoulder maintenance, drainage maintenance, and vegetation control including mowing.
Participate in the repair, maintenance, and construction of asphalt and gravel roadways.
Required Skills:
Hauling experience (on and off road) in the capacity of a tractor trailer driver with walking floor trailers, end dumps.
Education/Certification:
Graduation from high school or a GED equivalent.
Valid Hawaii CDL Type (A) Driver’s License
Experience/Other:
Heavy equipment experience with front loaders
Physical Limitations:
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours per day, and frequently lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds.
