Join our team of professionals who help keep Maui’s vacation rentals beautiful, comfortable, and guest-ready. We’re seeking motivated, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Inspectors who take pride in quality and care about every guest’s experience.
About the Role
As an Inspector, you’ll be responsible for reviewing vacation rental units before guest arrivals to ensure they meet our quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. You’ll document each inspection with photos and a short video, and handle small maintenance fixes when needed.
Responsibilities
Inspect vacation units for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs
Ensure all lights, appliances, and amenities are working properly
Take a short video during each inspection to verify property readiness
Perform small tasks such as changing lightbulbs, unclogging drains, or resetting garbage disposals
Communicate effectively with cleaning and maintenance teams
Use our inspection checklist/app to document findings and photos
Report and follow up on maintenance or inventory issues promptly
Maintain a positive, professional attitude with staff and guests
Requirements
Fluent in English; conversational Spanish preferred
2+ years of experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or property inspection
Eye for detail and strong organizational skills
Basic maintenance knowledge (light repairs, bulb replacement, unclogging, etc.)
Reliable transportation and valid Hawaii driver’s license
Smartphone for communication, photo, and video reporting
Ability to work independently and manage time well
Must live on Maui (no relocation)
Flexible schedule required — must be available on weekends and holidays
Compensation
$23–$25 per hour, depending on experience (both full-time and part-time positions)
