Clay Chapman Iwamura Pulice & Nervell, a 20+ lawyer law firm in downtown Honolulu is looking for a Paralegal in its Banking and Financial Services Department to draft pleadings, evaluate real property title reports, evaluate mortgage loan documentation and communicate with clients. Successful candidates will have work experience or a knowledge/education of Hawaii real property law as it applies to any of the following areas: recording documents at the bureau of conveyances, mortgage loans, title reports for real property, escrow, real estate closings or foreclosure law. It would be helpful, but not necessary to have experience or education in Hawaii civil litigation or the Hawaii Rules of Civil Procedure. Comprehensive training will be provided on the specific responsibilities of the job.
