Hale Kipa is looking for a Case Manager to provide services to young adult males and females, (ages 18-22), transitioning out of homelessness, living in our two Transitional Living Programs. Case management services include: teaching independent living skills to prepare the young adults to be living on their own, assisting with career exploration/employment search, educational pursuits, and anything else that will assist the young adult to be self-sufficient and a contributing member of society. The Case Manager also supervises the Resident Advisor for each home, working with them to provide support services to the young adults. Building positive working relationships with community partners to better serve the young adults is imperative. Other skills required: solid communication, both verbal and written, computer literacy and being able to navigate the electronic health record system, good time management, knowledgeable about community resources, and the ability to be creative and make the best use of limited resources. Access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, current auto insurance and safety check are all required. Bachelor's degree in a related field is required and experience with youth and young adults highly preferred.
