Program: Family Peace Center

Type: Full Time, Nonexempt

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

The primary responsibilities of the Intake Screener are to handle phone and in-person client intake, schedule appointments and processing of referrals, track referrals to the Family Peace Center, and provide overall operational and program support to the Family Peace Center (Oahu). This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Director.

Key functions of the Intake Screener:

Answers the telephones, greets visitors and manages reception area traffic.

Processes and tracks referrals from referring agencies and provides data input of referrals.

Conducts intake with clients in accordance with program and agency procedures.

Completes intake screening form in PACT's electronic client record system (eHana).

Collects program fees from clients, processes and logs fees accordingly; documents all client and collateral

contact in accordance with program and agency procedures.

Schedules appointments for assessments and orientations and provides clients with relevant information.

Provides general administrative support to the program including data entry, report and correspondence formatting and production, faxing, copying, mail processing, typing, filing, and meeting preparation.

Attends monthly FPC staff meeting and is responsible for taking and distributing notes from the

meeting.

Assists with responding to requests for information and referrals from staff, clients, other social service providers, the courts, and other stakeholders, including community members.

Education / Training Experience:

Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent.

At least one year of experience in DV, CAN or social

services.

Two (2) years experience in clerical or data entry position, or

Completion of administrative assistant course at an accredited

vocational school.

Must possess computer skills including Word, Excel, and Database management.
