SUMMARY:
The HR Manager will maintain and enhance the organizations human resources department by evaluation and improving employee relations, programs and practices. If you enjoy a challenging career and have HR experience, we want to hear from you.
Maintains organization staff by recruiting, testing, and interviewing candidates; counseling managers on candidate selections; recommending changes
Maintains and manages the organizations employee files, payroll duties and processing, disbursing the Employee Handbook, assisting employees with HR related issues in a fair and consistent manner
Assist with developing and implementing HR policies which support the organizational and business goals of the company
Ensures legal compliance with all applicable Hawaii state and federal employment laws, including posting requirements
Updates and revises employee handbook as necessary at the direction of the supervisor
Assist in training of employees in conjunction with department managers in support of the corporate strategic goals
Works closely with management and staff to build morale and improve working relationships
Handles reporting and record keeping for worker's compensation, unemployment compensation, and disability claims, gather data for hearings as needed, and work with insurance carriers toward resolution of all claims
Assist accounting with 401K program and assist employees with all their 401K questions and needs
HR experience is preferred
