Research Specialist Responsibilities:
Facilitates contacts between Employer Groups and different departments in regard to issues such as eligibility and benefits
Assists with handling, investigating, and responding to appeals in regard to plan benefits, eligibility, and other administrative processes
Gathers information and creates recommendations from other departments for submission to management
Works with arbitrators and external review organizations to facilitate case reviews
Research Specialist Requirements:
2+ years of administrative experience, healthcare industry is preferred
High school diploma or GED is required; college degree is a plus
Detail oriented, strong communication skills, and time management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite li>
